CashLady is proud to work with several lenders who are willing to consider applications from people with bad credit.

What’s the difference between a payday loan and a short-term loan?
The key difference between a payday loan and a short-term loan is the repayment duration.

Searching for a loan with CashLady: how does it work?
1. Use the slider on our website to select the amount of money that you need to borrow and choose a repayment term.
2. Fill out our five-minute online form and tell us some key information, such as your employment status and income.
3. We’ll complete a soft search on your financial history and scan our panel of lenders for a loan that could suit your circumstances.
4. If we’ve matched you with a loan, you’ll be redirected to the lender’s website, where you can decide whether you’d like to make a full application. If you’re happy to go ahead, the lender will carry out a creditworthiness assessment, which will include a hard search or Open Banking.
5. If you pass the lender’s checks, you will officially be offered the loan. Your lender will let you know when you can expect your money to be sent. Although some of the lenders on the CashLady panel could send your funds on the same day as your application is approved, the time it takes for the money to become available in your account will depend on your bank’s policies and procedures.
At some point during the process with the lender, you’ll be sent a loan agreement. Please make sure you’re happy with the terms and conditions before you sign and return.
What should I do if I can no longer afford to make my loan repayments?
If you can’t afford to make your monthly repayments, you should speak to your lender. Try to contact them sooner rather than later so that they can talk you through any options that may be available to help you.

Please be aware that a hard search will remain on your credit file for up to 12 months, and multiple hard searches in a short period will hurt your credit score.
**Payout timescales vary between lenders. The time it takes for the money to appear in your account will depend on your bank’s policies and procedures.
